AirStrip Featured at Apple's 2009 Worldwide Developer's Conference
AirStrip Technologies, L.P., a leader in the field of remote healthcare surveillance, received an exclusive opportunity to present its current and in-development applications for the iPhone as part of Apple's 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco.
The AirStrip Technologies story was shown in a presentation film that covered a small handful of companies that are creating groundbreaking applications for the iPhone. In addition, AirStrip's co-founders, Dr. Cameron Powell and Trey Moore, took to the stage at Apple's invitation to present live demos of AirStrip/iPhone applications during the keynote event. Only eight developers were given this prestigious opportunity. You can watch the video by clicking here. Scroll to time codes 49:00 and 1:15:50 to see the AirStrip-specific content.
The WWDC is one of the most closely-watched tech conferences in the world. Apple uses the event in part to highlight applications from third-party developers that use Apple products in new and innovative ways, as well as make announcements about new developments for its own products.
AirStrip Technologies is the only known company to offer this groundbreaking technology for commercial use in healthcare – providing the ability to construct a secure, hospital-wide remote patient monitoring system with AirStrip as the backbone. Currently, AirStrip OB is in use by nearly 100 hospitals nationwide. AirStrip CRITICAL CARE, which was spotlighted at the WWDC, will be submitted for FDA clearance later this year.
