Overview AirStrip CARDIOLOGYTM is the latest product from AirStrip TechnologiesTM, a medical technology company specialized in delivering remote access of real-time waveform data on a PDA, SmartPhone or PC. Such data includes live telemetry strips, contemporaneous and historical ECG data, pulse oximetry, active ventilator readings, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, arterial pressure monitoring and other information from the patient monitor.  The goal of AirStrip CARDIOLOGYTM is to provide doctors with live, remote access to data previously accessible only at the bedside, without time-delay.

Application Features AirStrip CARDIOLOGYTM includes features necessary to allow physicians to make time-critical decisions from locations distant to the bedside, further eliminating time delay in clinical assessment and treatment of patients. Clinical features include: Remote, Real-time monitoring of live cardiac rhythm strips and other waveform data such as pulse oximetry and ventilator waveforms and data. Remote ECG access, including both immediate and historical ECGs. Viewing ECGs on a mobile, hand-held device is made efficient by features allowing for accurate assessment and decision making. These features include: The ability to view the ECG in its entirety The ability to view the ECG lead-by-lead or to choose which group of leads to visualize simultaneously.  This allows enlarged images to be viewed and to allow contiguous leads to be assessed simultaneously. Viewing larger waveforms allows for more accurate assessment of interval changes and pertinent deviations such as ST elevation, PR and QRS intervals, etc. Additional features include a zoom feature which maintains relative size of waveforms and the background grid for easy assessment and measurements. Automated caliper to measure designated intervals, both automatically and manually. Scroll function, allowing one to scroll through stored waveform data, such as telemetry strips, very quickly. Data from start to finish is accessible in four hour intervals. Access to typical bedside monitoring data is also available, including Heart Rate, Respiratory Rate, Temperature, Blood Pressure, and invasive monitoring measurements such as cardiac output, Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressures, Arterial Line values, central venous pressures, etc. Screen set-up is provider specific, allowing clinicians to create a data set or sets tailored to their needs both in and out of the hospital.
